No. 34 – Saranac

This is one of the better root beers that I’ve had with only one negative that brings it just shy of the best of the best. Saranac has been in business since the late 1800s, and Prohibition made them start brewing root beer. With such a long track record, they have proven themselves with a root beer that has a harsh, sharp bite with a vanilla aftertaste that doesn’t linger too long. The only thing I don’t care for is after drinking, there was a sweetness that lingered in my mouth. Regardless, it’s still one of the top root beers that I’ve tried.
