No. 43 – Bulldog

No. 43 – Bulldog

I gotta admit the name Bulldog for root beer was a bit odd and “Unleash the Taste” a bit of a cliche BUT the flavor of this brand is great and surpassed any of my expectations. It’s such a smooth, creamy drink which immediately reminded me a little of A&W. It’s made with real vanilla and though it didn’t overwhelm the drink, you could definitely taste it throughout. Also, there’s a bit of honey that came through in the aftertaste which continued the rich, creamy flavor. You could use it as part of a root beer float, but I think it would just taste better drinking it from the bottle. It’s a top tier flavor for sure. I totally recommend it.

On a separate side note, as I’m linking websites to this site, I noticed the Bulldog Root Beer site hasn’t been updated since the late 1990s/early 2000s. It needs a massive overhaul as it looks a bit unseemly.
