No. 56 – Cicero Salted Caramel

I had high hopes for this one. I enjoy trying flavors of root beer that are out of the norm. Salted caramel would be a unique flavor, if done correctly. But, this one stumbled right out of the gate and couldn’t get a good stride. Its flavor was rather weak and felt watered down. It could have come out swinging for the fences with a smooth caramel flavor but for me it was a strikeout. Honestly, the only salted caramel flavor that I got was in the aftertaste as it settled in my mouth. It was a rather quick blink and you’ll miss it moment. Overall, it missed the mark for me when it could’ve easily been a bullseye. I will have to put it in the below average category. Cicero has a regular version that I will eventually get to. Hopefully, it’s better than this one.
