No. 62 – Ozark

Ozark is made in Branson, Missouri which I’ve heard some people proclaim that it’s the Vegas of the Midwest. I’m more inclined to call it the Myrtle Beach/Pigeon Forge of the Midwest as it has similar touristy attractions as those places. For me, it would be an underwhelming place and Ozark root beer is a rather underwhelming root beer. It has a slight bite to start but it quickly becomes smooth not 1/4 through the bottle. It mostly tastes of caramel with a ever so slight wintergreen flavor in the aftertaste. Overall, it’s an average root beer. There’s nothing too complex here and there’s nothing that would turn anyone off but it’s easily forgettable.
