No. 72 – Foxon Park

No. 72 – Foxon Park

I always have an open mind when drinking a root beer, with the one exception being the probiotic “root beer” Poppi. I try to never let a label sway me but still, the Foxon Park label didn’t really win any points at first glance. It looks like it’s trying to be old school but with little effort behind it. But, the drink has similarities to Barq’s and that’s high praise! It has a bite like Barq’s but it’s nowhere as near as pronounced. Opening the bottle there is a smell of wintergreen. You can taste wintergreen throughout the drink and even in the aftertaste but it’s subtle. There’s a slight caramel flavor as well. Overall, I would love to get this again and because it reminds me so much of Barq’s, which has been my favorite root beer of all time, Foxon Park makes it in the top tier status. I only discovered this brand from an online outlet. So, if you can’t find this brand, don’t worry. You can find Barq’s literally everywhere!
