No. 75 – Point Premium

No. 75 – Point Premium

I tried not to let the fact that Point Premium is crafted and brewed in Wisconsin sway my review. I really did. But it’s hard to shake the Badger state away when it crafts so many good root beers. As I was drinking Point Premium, I even told myself that I shoudn’t place it in top tier status when in fact, as I continued drinking it that it just got better and better. In the end, no matter how many stipulations I tried to place on it, I couldn’t shake how good this tasted. It has a slight bite and it’s very creamy with a delicate balance of sweetness. There’s not a particular flavor I could pick out save honey and vanilla. Vanilla is largely in the aftertaste. I enjoyed this one a lot and it pained me not to have another bottle lying around. Chalk up another win for the Midwest and another reason why I want to visit my cheesehead brothers and sisters in Wisconsin. Top tier status unlocked for Point Premium!
