No. 77 – Northern Soda Co. Toasted Pecan Root Beer

Northern Soda’s Toasted Pecan root beer tastes a little like drinking pecan pie. If you like that sort of thing, then this would be right up your alley. I like pecan pie but I don’t like drinking one. Also, this has no right to be called root beer. If they just named it Toasted Pecan pie, it wouldn’t be a problem. Also, it’s way too sweet. It’s another one I couldn’t finish. There’s a strong pecan flavor and a strong maple/caramel flavor as well. For a root beer, it gets very poor marks. For something other than a root beer, I’d rank it about average. Otherwise, I wouldn’t seek this one out. There’s no root beer to be found in this can.
