No. 83 – Route 66

No. 83 – Route 66

My friends Brian & Julie McQueary went to the Grand Canyon, the Hoover Dam, & Vegas and all I got was a couple of root beers. I joke but seriously, many thanks you two for bringing back a couple of bottles from the other side of the country for your root beer obsessed brother. Before I jump into the review, as a side note, one of the big things on my bucket list is driving the entire Route 66. Now, would Route 66 root beer be a perfect complement on a Route 66 road trip? Yes. It would be a great addition along with a music playlist that could go along in the background as you soak up the sights of Route 66. This is not a bad root beer, it’s thoroughly average, but after a slew of bad ones, it’s welcomed. It has a slight bite at first but it’s a smooth tasting root beer. Wintergreen is noticeable but barely as it sits in ever so slightly on the tongue. Vanilla is more prominent in the aftertaste. Overall, it could be a forgettable root beer after you drink it but for once, an average root beer actually has some thought put into the label and the bottle itself.
