No. 88 – Bedford’s

No. 88 – Bedford’s

I’ve been beginning to think that I have been too harsh/critical of root beers as of late. Bedford’s has reminded me that when a root beer is good, then it will stand leagues over the ones that are not. It’s nice to have a root beer that’s not watered down or tastes only of wintergreen. I was a bit hesitant that it’s from the Pacific Northwest as a previous root beer I had, Thomas Kemper, was a poor tasting drink. Bedford’s has a nice rooty flavor up front, with a caramel/vanilla taste that mixes pretty good. The only thing that’s a little odd is the slight fruity aftertaste. Almost cherry-like. Not bad but it threw me off. Overall, it’s an above average root beer.
