I hate novelty drinks. They would include bacon soda, mustard soda, peanut butter and jelly soda, etc. the list goes on and on. I honestly think they are a waste of your time & money. And, unfortunately, Root Jack is a complete novelty root beer. They tried, and failed, to bring something new to the table. First off, it has no carbonation to speak of and even though it smelled like root beer, it sure didn’t taste like it. The only thing I could taste from beginning to end was a sour orange flavor. That’s it. Root beer just forgot to show up. I tried letting it sit a little just to see if the flavors would change & it honestly just got worse. I couldn’t even bear finishing it. So, there’s no way it could even get a slight recommendation from me. Don’t waste your time/money & skip this one. Who asked for citrus flavored root beer? Not me that’s for sure.
