No. 95 – Diet Dogs N Suds

I reviewed the original Dog N Suds last summer and I consider it to be top tier root beer. It reminds me of A&W with a little twist. Now, the majority of diet root beers are average at best. So, this review is for my calorie counters or those who have to avoid sugar. With the exception of the bite that the original had, the diet version reminds me of the creamy vanilla forward regular version. There’s no bitter taste that a lot of diet drinks have due to lack of sugar. Though, I can’t recommend this over the regular version, Diet Dog N Suds is solid and one of the better diet root beers I have had. There’s no aftertaste as well, even as continued drinking it. It’s pretty light tasting. It fits into the above average category and for those that need to watch their weight/sugar-caloric intake, it’s definitely highly recommended!
