No. 110 – Hoover Dam

No. 110 – Hoover Dam

It’s been a solid three months since my last review & honestly, it was nice not having to really think about trying to find new root beers to try. I truly needed a little palate cleanser before continuing on. The tagline for Hoover Dam root beer is “dam good soda” and honestly, that’s the only reason why it’s named after the landmark. There is no other reason why the tourist attraction has a root beer named after it. So, does it live up to the cheeky tagline? No. It’s a rather smooth root beer that mostly tastes of wintergreen. It has a creamy texture with a slight taste of honey as well. But, it doesn’t sit on the tongue afterwards. There’s no aftertaste to even speak of & overall it can be rather forgettable. It’s far from the worse & far from the best so it sits firmly in the average category.
