No. 114 – Chumlee

When is the last time you watched Pawn Stars? 2012? Yeah, me too. It was a show that took off fast but after a little while, I got tired of watching and just forgot it. Apparently, it’s still on and has surpassed 20 seasons. There’s a market somewhere for people interested in the ins and outs of a pawn shop. One of the more entertaining personalities of the show was a guy named Chumlee who, at the very least, sold his name & likeness to market a root beer. I’m here to review all the root beers so that’s why I’m reviewing it. Otherwise, I would not have given such a novelty drink the chance. Overall, it’s average. It’s about as generic as you can get, in the same realm of store brand root beers. I haven’t reviewed store brand root beers and I’m not about to start now just because they all tend to blend in together. This root beer is slightly creamy and has an ever so slight caramel flavor but everything is so weak and bland in the bottle. If you drink it, you’ll likely forget that you’re drinking a root beer as I did. The good news, and it’s not much, is that there isn’t anything that would put you off from drinking it. Hey Chumlee, stick to pawning from now on. Or, work on a better root beer formula.
