If you want, just go back to review No. 101 where I explain Yinzer in great detail. I am not about to re-hash everything I explained from that post, because, honestly, part deux is barely worthy of a review. I had no idea Yinzer had two options for root beer but in reality, there’s only one option to even waste your hard earned money on. The first root beer I reviewed from Yinzer was decent but I was not going to make a trip to Pittsburgh for more of it. I’ve explained in great detail before the gulf that separates great root beer from the average ones. And that gulf becomes a bottomless pit from Star Wars when you compare top tier to the ones that are utter garbage. And Blawnox Boiler Maker (AKA Part Duex of Yinzer) is squarely in the latter category. The drink had no carbonation whatsoever & the only thing I could taste was an overly sweet caramel on the backend. I took 4 sips of this $3 bottle and had enough for it was way too cloying and it just didn’t taste good. It tasted flat and it seemed that they just melted down some Werther’s caramels and bottled up the liquid. There’s no root beer to be had folks and the reason why this one sits firmly in the don’t waste your time & money when there are so many good brands out there.
